We need everyone to keep us in their prayers as we try to decide where to live--it's so hard!!
Here are what we're deciding between:
San Diego: Great pay, great bonus, great moving costs, amazing benefits that we don't have to pay a dime for, great weather, company that really cares about Mike, duh...the weather and the beach, not international, expensive living, cool bonus structure (7% year 1, 8% year 2, 9% year 3, etc.)
Seattle: Pretty great pay, great bonus, OK moving costs, amazing top of the line technology for his field that would put him ahead of everyone else, goes international, in Seattle, so close to Mike's family (one of us thinks this is a bonus, one of us is not so sure...), expensive benefits that we have to pay for. (bonus is 1/2 one month's salary)
Portland: not great pay, great moving costs, no bonus, mildly expensive benefits that we have to pay for, has a really cool 18 mo, 4 city international program, really likes the people there,
close enough to visit Mike's family, and best friend Jason in San Fran.
